Fortis Rivus has begun working with Fortis Rivus Water Management on teaming efforts across water sector contracts and projects. The work pairs the firm's capital, operating platform, and procurement discipline with dedicated water-sector delivery experience.
Why Water
Water systems sit among the most essential and most persistently underinvested elements of public infrastructure. Municipalities, utilities, and institutional operators carry continuous obligations to maintain, repair, and modernize treatment, conveyance, and distribution assets. That obligation does not pause with the economic cycle.
The Teaming Approach
Teaming allows both parties to pursue opportunities that neither would address as effectively alone. Fortis Rivus contributes acquisition and structuring capability, operating support, and compliance and procurement readiness. Fortis Rivus Water Management contributes sector-specific engineering, project delivery experience, and working knowledge of water authority requirements and contracting practice.
Together, the parties intend to pursue prime and subcontracting opportunities across municipal, county, and federal water programs, while assessing where additional capability may be required.
What Comes Next
The work begins with opportunity mapping across target water markets, a review of registration and compliance requirements, and identification of the contracts where the combined team is positioned to compete credibly. Progress will be shared here as it develops.
Teaming activity does not constitute an award, a contract, or a guarantee of future work. Any opportunity remains subject to competitive procurement, applicable rules and regulations, and the requirements of the relevant contracting authority.
